Timothy Hoekman named MTNA-Shepherd Distinguished Composer of the Year. (Association News). Timothy Hoekman has been selected as the 2002 MTNA-Shepherd Distinguished Composer of the Year for his composition To Make a Prairie, commissioned by the South Dakota Music Teachers Association.
